What We Teach

London Baptist Confession, 1689

The teaching/preaching ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church follows closely in step with The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689. However, it is not necessary for one to agree with this confession in order to enjoy membership and fellowship within the congregation. (Membership is conferred upon those who have professed Christ as both Lord and Savior, have submitted to public baptism, and are committed to discipleship). However, those serving as elders (particularly teaching elders) must affirm the understandings set out in The London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1689.

Fellowship Baptist Church is also cordial toward the doctrinal statements of The Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000.
